Unboxing experience design, step by step
Good unboxing experience design is a sequence. The outer box arrives and must look tidy after the courier. It opens to a first reveal, often a printed inside lid or a message. Then the product appears, held in place, with any extras arranged around it. We plan each step before designing graphics.
Small details carry a lot of weight: a tear strip that opens cleanly, a ribbon pull to lift the product, a card that explains how to use it. We choose a few that suit your product rather than adding everything.
Mailer box design for e-commerce
Mailer box design balances protection, cost and impact. Corrugated mailers are strong and affordable, and printing on the inside often gives more impact than complex finishes outside. We design mailers sized for your product to reduce void fill and shipping cost.
Because we make mailers in our own factory, we can test the fit with your real products and adjust the insert before production. You approve the full sequence on a 3D mockup and digital proof.
Gift boxes and premium unboxing
For premium products, a rigid gift box inside a shipping mailer creates a two-stage unboxing. The mailer protects; the rigid box delivers the experience. Magnetic closures, drawer boxes and fitted inserts all make the moment feel considered.
Collapsible rigid boxes are useful here: they keep the premium feel but ship and store flat, which reduces freight costs for brands importing from our factory.
From brief to finished unboxing packaging
You share your products, order profile, brand and references. We reply with questions and a fixed quote, then present concepts on 3D mockups, usually within 48 hours of an agreed brief.
After approval we produce mailers and gift boxes from 500 units, with shipping worldwide by air or sea.
