Choosing the right box structure
Every box packaging design starts with structure. A tuck end carton suits retail shelves, a mailer suits e-commerce, a rigid magnetic box suits gifts and premium products, and a display box suits counters. We recommend the structure that fits your product, channel and budget.
We then build or adapt the dieline to your product's exact size, with inserts where needed. You can see the structure on a 3D mockup before artwork is final.
Luxury and premium box packaging designs
Luxury and premium box packaging designs depend on materials and finish. Rigid greyboard boxes wrapped in fine paper, foil stamping, embossing, soft-touch laminates and fitted inserts all add to the feeling of quality. We help you choose the finishes that suit your brand and margin.
For premium products with high shipping costs, collapsible rigid boxes keep the luxury feel but ship flat, saving space in freight and storage.
Artwork that fits the dieline
Box artwork has to wrap around folds, glue flaps and tuck flaps. We design on the real dieline, check that panels line up when folded and keep text away from creases. Finish layers such as foil and spot UV are set up separately for production.
For ranges we design a system so each variant shares the same structure and layout, with colour or graphics changing per product.
Our box packaging design process
You send the product, dimensions, quantities and references. We reply with questions and a fixed quote, then present concepts on 3D mockups, usually within 48 hours of an agreed brief.
After you approve the digital proof, we produce rigid and printed boxes in our factory from 500 units, with worldwide shipping by air or sea.
