Labelling in India
Food labelling in India is regulated by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI), and packaged goods declarations by the Legal Metrology (Packaged Commodities) Rules. Food labels carry the FSSAI licence number and a vegetarian or non-vegetarian symbol.
