Packaging design
Packaging for Malaysia
Malaysia has a large and growing beauty, wellness and halal food sector, with many brands selling through Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop and their own stores. Packaging needs to read clearly on small mobile screens and survive marketplace delivery.
Festive seasons, including Hari Raya, Lunar New Year and Deepavali, drive gift box demand. We design bilingual Malay and English packaging and make rigid gift boxes for seasonal collections.
Malaysian beauty and wellness brands often launch quickly and iterate, adding new products and variants as they learn from customers. A clear packaging system with templates for new SKUs keeps the range consistent and makes each launch faster and cheaper.

Labelling and compliance
Labelling in Malaysia
Food labelling in Malaysia is governed by the Food Regulations 1985 under the Ministry of Health, with Malay required for mandatory information and English often added. Cosmetics are notified with the National Pharmaceutical Regulatory Agency (NPRA) under ASEAN rules. Halal certification and logos are important for many products.
Last reviewed: 28 October 2026

- Food labels include ingredients, net quantity, date marking and the importer or manufacturer.
- Halal logos may only be used with valid certification.
- Cosmetics notified with the NPRA under the ASEAN Cosmetic Directive.
