Beverage packaging that reads in a fridge door
A drink is usually seen from a few metres away, often through glass and under cold light. That calls for a strong silhouette, one dominant colour per flavour and a brand mark that holds up at small size. We test concepts as fridge and shelf mockups, not just as flat artwork.
Flavour systems matter. We fix the layout and use colour, illustration or pattern to separate flavours, so customers can find their favourite and retailers can block the range on shelf. New flavours fit in without a full redesign.
Alcohol packaging design
Alcohol packaging design has its own rules and expectations. Spirits often sell on heritage and craft, beer and seltzers on personality and flavour, wine on place and style. We design bottle labels, can wraps, gift boxes and tubes that fit your category while still standing apart from it.
Gift packaging is a large part of alcohol sales. We make rigid gift boxes, tubes and presentation boxes with fitted inserts in our own factory, tested with your real bottles so they arrive intact and open well.
Alcohol beverage labeling and required information
Alcohol beverage labeling carries required information that differs by market and product type. In the US, for example, most alcohol labels are reviewed by the TTB before sale; the UK and EU have their own rules on alcohol content, allergens and other statements. We plan the label space so this information fits clearly.
The wording, the alcohol content and any approval process are your responsibility and your adviser's. We lay out the text you supply, keep it legible at the required size and make sure the brand still leads on the front. Our separate wine and spirits label page covers liquor label design in more depth.
Our beverage packaging design process
You send the product range, container specifications from your can or bottle supplier, target markets and references. We reply with questions and a fixed quote, then present concepts on 3D mockups, usually within 48 hours of an agreed brief, including fridge and shelf views.
Final artwork is built to your supplier's templates, with print notes for metallic inks, white underprint on clear labels and varnishes. Gift boxes and multipack cartons can be made in our factory from 500 units.
