Start with less packaging
The most effective sustainable choice is often using less. A box sized to the product needs less board, less void fill and less space in shipping. We review your current dimensions and structure and often find a smaller or simpler option that still protects and presents the product well.
Collapsible rigid boxes are another option for premium products: they ship flat, which reduces freight volume and storage space.
FSC certified packaging and recycled materials
FSC certified packaging uses paper and board from responsibly managed forests and controlled sources, tracked through a chain of custody. If you want to print an FSC label on your packaging, the supply chain must be certified and the label used according to FSC's rules.
Recycled board and greyboard are widely available and suit many box styles. We will tell you which materials are available for your box and ask you to confirm any certification before a claim is printed.
Design for recycling
Mixed materials are harder to recycle. Plastic windows, heavy laminates and glued-in foam inserts can all make a box less recyclable. We suggest alternatives such as card inserts, uncoated or recyclable coatings and paper-based windows where they suit the product.
Recycling systems differ by country, so the right advice for customers can vary. We lay out the disposal information you confirm for each market.
Honest claims on pack
Environmental claims are increasingly regulated, and vague words like eco-friendly can mislead. We help you make specific, supportable statements, such as the percentage of recycled content or a certified material, and keep the evidence behind them with you.
You share your products, current packaging and goals. We reply with questions and a fixed quote, present options with their trade-offs, and produce boxes in our own factory from 500 units.
