Fragrance packaging that tells a story
Good fragrance packaging gives people a feeling: fresh, warm, rare, playful. We start by turning your scent notes and story into a short visual brief, then choose colour, texture, type and finish to match. A woody scent might suit an uncoated textured paper and a blind deboss; a bright citrus might suit a clean white box with one vivid colour.
The bottle and the box should feel like one object. We design the carton around the bottle's shape and colour, and can coordinate with your bottle and cap suppliers so the finishes match. If the bottle is still in development, we can design both at concept stage.
Rigid perfume boxes and luxury finishes
Most fine fragrances sit in rigid boxes: lid and base, magnetic closure, drawer or shoulder-neck. These structures feel solid and protect the glass. We make them in our own factory with greyboard from 1.5 to 3 mm and wrap papers chosen for the scent's character, and shown on a 3D mockup before you decide.
Finishes do a lot of the work in fragrance. Foil stamping, embossing, debossing, soft-touch laminate and textured papers all change how a box is perceived. We recommend one or two finishes rather than everything at once, and we set them up on the artwork exactly as our machines need them.
Inserts that protect the bottle
Glass needs protection, and a loose bottle cheapens the experience. We design inserts in EVA foam, card or velvet-flocked board, cut to the bottle's exact profile, so it sits upright and does not move. For discovery sets with several vials, the insert becomes part of the presentation.
Because the insert and the box are made in the same factory, we size them together from your bottle dimensions and check the fit on a 3D mockup. That avoids the common problem of an insert that looks perfect in a render but holds the bottle at an angle in real life.
From perfume packaging brief to production
You share the scent story, bottle dimensions or samples, quantities and target markets. We send questions and a fixed quote, then present concepts on 3D mockups, usually within 48 hours of an agreed brief. The chosen route is developed into artwork for the box, the insert and any gift set or travel size.
Mandatory text such as ingredient lists, volume and warnings is supplied by you or your regulatory adviser, and we place it so it is clear without spoiling the front. A digital proof follows, and production in our factory starts from 500 units.
