Health product packaging design that prevents mistakes
In health product packaging design, a clear layout is a safety feature. Product name, strength, dose form and quantity must be easy to read and hard to confuse. We use strong hierarchy, consistent placement and colour coding so similar products in a range cannot be mixed up at a glance.
We also design for real use: small cartons handled by people who may have poor eyesight, or who are unwell. Type size, contrast and spacing are chosen for legibility, not only for appearance.
Working within regulated text
Pharmaceutical and medical packaging is tightly regulated, and much of the text is fixed by your product licence or registration. We work from your approved text and artwork requirements and do not change wording. Our job is to lay it out accurately and clearly.
Every change is tracked. We keep version control on each file, mark up changes between versions and supply clean print-ready files. Final regulatory review and approval remain with your regulatory team.
Ranges, strengths and colour coding
Many health product ranges include several strengths or variants. We design a system with fixed positions for the critical information and a colour or pattern code for each strength, so pharmacists and customers can tell them apart quickly.
The same system extends to leaflets, labels and shelf-ready cases, so the whole range looks coherent and new products can be added without starting again.
Our pharma packaging design process
You share the approved text, the product range, the carton dimensions or dielines and any brand guidelines. We reply with questions and a fixed quote, then present layout concepts, usually within 48 hours of an agreed brief, and develop the chosen direction across every SKU.
We produce printed cartons in our own factory from 500 units and supply print-ready files for labels and leaflets. Where your market requires specific production controls, we will discuss them with you before production.
