Makeup packaging that works on camera and on the shelf
A lot of makeup is discovered on a phone screen before it is seen in a shop. That means the packaging has to read in a square crop, hold its colour under ring lights and still make sense at shelf distance. We design with both in mind and test concepts as flat lays and shelf mockups before you choose a direction.
Strong makeup packaging usually has one memorable element: a colour, a shape, a pattern or a finish that people associate with you. We help you choose that element and then protect it across every product, so a new lipstick looks like part of the family the day it launches.
Design makeup packaging for shades and collections
When you design makeup packaging for a range of shades, the system matters more than any single box. We fix the layout, the type and the structure, then let the shade colour or a collection pattern change. Shade names and numbers sit in the same place every time, which helps both customers and your warehouse.
Limited editions and collaborations can break the rules on purpose, but only if the core system is clear. We design the everyday packaging first and then plan how a seasonal sleeve, a foil variation or a special gift box can stand out while still being recognisably yours.
Palettes, kits and PR boxes
Palettes and kits need structure as well as graphics. We plan the insert, the opening sequence and the way the lid sits when open, then design the artwork around that. A magnetic rigid box with a fitted insert makes a PR kit feel like an event; a printed mailer with a simple card insert keeps a subscription box affordable.
Because we make these boxes in our own factory, we size the structure and insert from your product dimensions and check them on a 3D mockup before artwork is final. That avoids the common problem of a beautiful kit box where the products rattle or the lid will not close.
From concept to finished makeup boxes
The process is simple. You send products, quantities and references; we send questions and a fixed quote. First concepts arrive on 3D mockups, usually within 48 hours of the brief, and one direction is developed across every SKU. Artwork is built on the real dieline with foil, glitter varnish or spot UV on separate layers.
Ingredient and warning text is supplied by you or your regulatory adviser, and we keep the space it needs on the back or base. After you approve the digital proof, we produce rigid and printed boxes from 500 units, or hand over print-ready files if you already have a printer.
