Designing CBD packaging that earns trust
CBD buyers are cautious. They look for clear strength information, a batch number, a way to check lab results and a brand that looks established. Packaging that feels rushed or overclaims tends to put people off. We design with a clean hierarchy and a restrained colour system, so your product looks credible from the first glance.
Many brands use a QR code linking to a certificate of analysis. We place it where it can be scanned easily and label it clearly, so customers know what it does. Strength, serving and total content get a consistent, prominent position across your range.
CBD packaging requirements: plan the space early
CBD packaging requirements vary widely by country and, in the US, by state. They can cover what you may claim, which warnings must appear, how strength is stated and whether packaging must be child-resistant. Because these rules can change, we plan generous space for required text and keep layouts easy to update.
We do not decide what your packaging must say. The wording, claims and any testing information come from you and your legal or regulatory adviser for each market. Our CBD packaging guide covers the main topics to raise with them.
Child-resistant packaging for CBD products
Some markets require child-resistant packaging for certain CBD or cannabis products. Child-resistant closures and containers are certified by their manufacturer to a recognised test standard, so the certification sits with the container, not the printed box around it.
We design outer boxes, sleeves and labels that work with certified child-resistant bottles, jars and pouches from your supplier. If you need a specific child-resistant format, tell us at the brief stage and we will design around the supplier's templates and opening mechanism.
From CBD packaging brief to finished boxes
You share your product range, strengths, target markets, container templates and the label text approved by your adviser. We reply with questions and a fixed quote, then present concepts on 3D mockups, usually within 48 hours of an agreed brief.
The chosen direction is applied across every strength and format, with a system that makes new products easy to add. Printed and rigid boxes are made in our own factory from 500 units, and label files are supplied ready for your printer.
